Fairfield County Divorce Records

Any member of the public can view information about divorce cases online using the Case Inquiry Search portal of the Court of Common Pleas. When searching by name or case type (filing date), one can select "Divorce (DR)" under the "Case Type" menu before running the search.

The portal displays the names of the case parties, the case number and title, the initiating action, the case status, and the filing date. It also shows docket details, which include descriptions of documents, such as motions, filed through the lifecycle of the divorce, the dates of filings, court actions, such as issued subpoenas and judgment filings, and associated court costs. Additionally, people can view specific case events and where they were held, as well as records of services (court papers served to specific individuals).

Individuals looking to view or obtain copies of the court documents listed on the portal can use the request methods provided by the Fairfield County Clerk of Courts.

However, documents that contain details about minors may be redacted, or the clerk may deny requests for those records.
